Insediamento abusivo

Ostia – Municipio Roma X. È allarme degrado e sicurezza nell’area verde compresa tra Via Mar Rosso, Via Mare di Bering e Viale dei Promontori. A denunciarlo è il consigliere Alessandro Ieva, che ha eseguito un sopralluogo nella zona e ha presentato una richiesta di intervento urgente, il 21 agosto 2025, all’Ufficio di Scopo di Roma Capitale – Coordinamento Interventi dell’Amministrazione Centrale sul Territorio del Municipio Roma X, oltre che al Presidente e al Direttore del Municipio, al Direttore della Direzione Tecnica e alla Polizia Locale X Gruppo Mare.

Vegetazione fuori controllo e rifiuti abbandonati

L’area, di rilevante valore ambientale, versa oggi in uno stato di abbandono: la vegetazione incolta invade marciapiedi e abitazioni limitrofe, ostacolando la circolazione e peggiorando il decoro urbano. All’interno sono presenti rifiuti abbandonati e occupazioni abusive che aggravano il degrado e aumentano i rischi igienico-sanitari.

Un pericolo per le abitazioni: il rischio incendi

“La situazione è critica e richiede interventi immediati”, sottolinea Ieva. La mancata manutenzione del terreno espone le abitazioni confinanti al rischio concreto di incendi, reso ancora più preoccupante dall’alta densità abitativa della zona e dalla vicinanza diretta delle case dei residenti.

Le richieste al Municipio

Nella segnalazione, il consigliere Ieva indica alcune priorità operative:

  • rimozione della vegetazione e creazione di linee tagliafuoco;

  • pulizia dei marciapiedi e smaltimento dei rifiuti;

  • controlli sugli occupanti abusivi e rimozione delle baracche;

  • verifica di eventuali sversamenti nascosti dalla vegetazione;

  • rispetto dell’ordinanza del Sindaco sulla prevenzione incendi, valida fino al 30 ottobre 2025.

Un progetto di riqualificazione per restituire l’area ai cittadini

Oltre agli interventi urgenti, Ieva sollecita l’avvio di un progetto strutturato di riqualificazione che possa trasformare l’area verde da luogo abbandonato a spazio pubblico sicuro e fruibile. L’obiettivo è coinvolgere cittadini e associazioni locali, dando vita a un percorso di partecipazione attiva per restituire valore a un bene comune oggi trascurato.
