La richiesta di impegno fondi a valere dalla prossima variazione di bilancio per la manutenzione ordinaria della pista ciclabile sul Lungomare, presentata dal nostro gruppo M5S tramite mozione, oggi è stata approvata in sede di Consiglio. Non tutto è filato liscio, la coalizione di centrodestra non era presente in aula, o meglio, un solo consigliere di FdI lo è stato ma si è astenuto dal votare. Ormai è consuetudine che, dopo la prima ora di Consiglio, garantito il gettone di presenza, i consiglieri di centrodestra se ne vadano. Il fatto più importante e la sostanza della riunione consiliare di oggi, è che si è tornato a parlare di ciclabilità come obiettivo comune delle amministrazioni. Le piste ciclabili devono essere espressione e funzione della sostenibilità, della sicurezza stradale e della maggiore accessibilità possibile al territorio. Finalità che saranno raggiungibili solo con l’implementazione di azioni disincentivanti, l’utilizzo degli autoveicoli privati, in termini sia quantitativi che di distanze – in termini di aumento della pedonalizzazione delle aree – e piuttosto a favore della mobilità ‘dolce’ e dei trasporti pubblici.
