Il piano dell’UE per porre fine alla nostra dipendenza dai combustibili fossili russi prevede anche una maggiore diffusione dell’energia rinnovabile.
Le rinnovabili riducono infatti la domanda dell’UE di combustibili fossili nei settori dell’energia elettrica, del riscaldamento e del raffrescamento, dell’industria e dei trasporti, sia a breve termine che nel lungo periodo.
Grazie ai bassi costi di esercizio, una quota maggiore di fonti di energia rinnovabili nel sistema energetico dell’UE può contribuire a ridurre le bollette energetiche.
